Berkendael Residence

A new-build home within a small, energy-neutral neighbourhood. The challenge was making the most of a narrow plot: by placing the staircase against the side wall, a continuous living space runs from front to back.

The design meets BENG energy standards and includes a heat pump and a fully insulated building envelope. Externally, a calm timber cladding was chosen that weathers gracefully.
